Bright Star is original yarn produced by Zegna Baruffa, sourced via Italian stock and destock channels: 85% cashmere and 15% mohair, two-ply, soft next to the skin with a halo that builds with washing. At 350 m per 100 g it is a fingering / 4-ply weight; machine knitters can use it on a standard 5 gauge machine. It ships lightly oiled, so wash a swatch before measuring gauge. Wash cool, dry flat; expect some pilling with wear.
