Bright Star is original cashmere and mohair yarn produced by Zegna Baruffa, sourced via Italian stock and destock channels: a curated stock lot, finite and unrepeatable. 85% cashmere gives a soft, light hand that blooms with washing; 15% mohair adds halo. A 2-ply fingering / 4-ply yarn at 350 m per 100 g, for hand knitting or a standard 5 gauge machine (approximate). It ships lightly oiled: wash your swatch before measuring gauge. Wash cool, dry flat; expect some pilling.
