Pure cashmere from Cariaggi in a fine 2/46 count, spun for luxury knitwear production. This cobweb-weight yarn runs at approximately fine gauge (7-12 gg), or held double or triple on a standard 5 gg machine. Essential: wash your swatch after knitting, as the yarn ships lightly oiled and blooms substantially once the spinning oil comes out. The cashmere develops its characteristic soft halo with washing, offering exceptional warmth without weight.
